Inter-term 2008

So, It is January 22nd and inter-term is almost over. Inter-term is a 2 week break for the holidays and 4 weeks of optional class that Chapman offers, it is a great way to get ahead on units… OR… stay home and hang out with old friends. Either option is great and provides for a less stressful 6 weeks! Thus, since we have been on inter-term, it feels like it has been a long time since I have had class, for I only audited tennis over inter-term (which… by the way… is a great way is to suffice your PE credit).

I cannot wait for second semester to start and everyone to be back on campus! It is my final semester at Chapman, and I intend to make it the best semester yet. I am taking two Psychology classes, physiological psychology and social psychology. My social psychology class is taught by one of my favorite professors, Ed Dana. Dana is exceedingly personable, a great professor and quite the character. I have had three classes with him now, and feel like I am ready and excited for another amazing semester of learning. Furthermore, I intend to get an internship this semester. I will detail my search for an internship in my next post, but now I must go see ‘27 Dresses’ with a bunch of friends at one of the theaters near campus, merely because they offer great student discounts, an essential for a college kid!

C*H*A*P*M*A*N

So, as the title of my blog describes... I am a proud Chapman University senior! I have spent the past 3 years (and now one semester) at Chapman and have loved every moment of it... from crazy group projects in the Leatherby Libraries to cheering at greek week on Memorial Lawn. I wanted to create this blog to show potential Chapman students ALL about their future years at Chapman. It is a fun place to go to school and I now feel that I can share my wisdom of this institution.

Now, there is ONE week left in the Fall 2007 semester before we all leave for break. However, this week will be anything but boring... many trips to starbucks, the library and midnight breakfast will be had (with a strong combination of no sleep!) We are all excited for a little holiday break, yet the idea of leaving all of our friends for a break with Santa makes me a bit teary eyed! It will give me taste of my post graduation experience! Ok, so I must go to continue studying for my biology final this week. Yet, be sure to check back in for my update on finals and of course, the infamous midnight breakfast!
